#1645 Stratobot

A full-colour digital painting of a blue sky with the sun in the lower right corner, fading from pale blue to dark navy. The sun is throwing out a bright halo with a sundog (a little rainbow that can sometimes be visible on the edges of such a halo) on one side. There are fluffy, cumulus clouds scattered around, coloured from deep purple to a soft pink towards the sun, while amongst them floats a tiny, spherical robot with banded arms and a propeller on its top. The robot is facing towards the sun, cast in the same colour as the clouds, with its eyes closed and a contented smile on its face.

We made a robot that could fly up above the clouds. It had a look at what was going on down here on the surface and has stayed up there ever since.
