#1786 Christmaspastbot

A scene of Scroogebot viewed from behind, wearing its nightcap and holding up its hand defensively as the drapes are thrown back on its bed by a floating, spherical robot with banded arms and legs and a happy expression on its face. The robot is glowing with golden light, illuminating the scene, and carries a black, conical hat under its arm with a little sphere on the end.

From the crown of its head there sprung a bright clear jet of light, by which all this was visible; and which was doubtless the occasion of its using, in its duller moments, a great extinguisher for a cap, which it now held under its arm. #ABotmasCarol
