A large robot like a thick, inflatable mattress. It's on the ground with little puffed up cheeks, its limbs sticking out as a person lands on its back.

Most of the time is compact and easily stowed about your person, but should you lose equilibrium it immediately jumps out and inflates to ensure you land safely.
